Our trip to Gouda ended on a perfect note with dinner at Roma Restaurant Pizzeria. The three of us shared pizzas and fried calamari with cheese, and everything was absolutely delicious. You can really taste the authentic Italian flavors in their dishes, and the service was attentive and warm. The restaurant itself is small but has a lovely, cozy atmosphere—ideal for a casual meal with family or friends. I’d definitely recommend booking a table in advance.

It was a cold damp Saturday evening when we decided to visit this Italian restaurant. Wow what a perfect night we enjoyed here. The place was buzzing with locals and the waiters are lively and warm. I have to admit that the decor is bordering on kitschy Italian but it works its charm here. We got given complimentary fresh bread with garlic butter which was delicious. We ordered a jug of house wine which was refreshingly dry and fruity. The menu is vast and you certainly have to return to try out the variety of dishes. Really lovely and cozy restaurant. It's far enough from the market square to have a bit more of a "local" vibe. The decor and layout remind me of my grandma's house, in a good way. Service is friendly and prompt. I really love their pizza -- so far, it is my favorite that I have had in Gouda.
