I have been in Groningen 3 times and this was the meal i had in the town. Really delicious food. Really enjoyed the cozy place and food was tasty. We visited the place with a Dutch family what make our life easy as they don’t have English menus. If you don't speak Dutch i will recommend to find another place.

I had a great experience, the restaurant is cozy and with good service. Booking a table in advance is a good idea as it can get quite busy. They offer plenty of delicious food options for sharing (beware they can get quite expensive all together), and everything we tried tasted really good. They also have a nice selection of wines to complement your meal. I'm glad I tried this place, and I'll definitely be returning in the future!

Finally got the time to check this place out. Cute little spot. Modern bistro vibes. Our asparagus shared dish (green ones) a bit over cooked. Halibut was not available (on a Monday delivery day after the weekend). Marrow could be torched or something was nice but was missing a bit of oomph. And 3 crostinis for a size like this is not enough. The rest of the food was nice. Pornstar martini was delish. Overall nice place for Groningen. 7.5 out of 10.

I've been living in Groningen for the past 7 months as a law student, and this was my 4th time at Bistro Boys - it will be my last. The food does not justify the poor and ambivalent service. Today I arrived within the first hour of their opening and secured a table in the front, in full view of the servers and staff. My male server was quick to get my drink order, but once he dropped it off, he completely stopped helping me.
