If you’re staying near Schipol and don’t feel like taking the train into the city, this is probably the best restaurant you can visit. The restaurant has a nice local feel, the beers are great and the food is superb - especially the pear tartin and steak.

The first time I visited this place was shortly after it opened. It’s an old farm with an interesting history. At the time, it felt like an oasis amid all the Hyde Park construction, and I was charmed by the idea of having live trees inside the restaurant. Sadly, over the last 8 months, those trees have completely dried up, leaving only bare trunks. As for the food, the choice may seem limited for meat lovers, but I’m sure most people will find something they enjoy. The menu is interesting and quite unconventional, and the kitchen clearly has its own creative style. I keep coming back partly

Amazing hidden gem for beer (and food) lovers :) had wonderful Happy Demons on tap (5th time in Ams, first time tasing it), bitterballen and potato fries were tasty as "I will come back again". Thank you for the nice evening, service and charming garden!
