Don't be fooled by the corny name. I've visited here a couple of times, and on both occasions they delivered quite excellently. The food was nice, and the service was timely. Great selection of Chinese food—although I've seen more comprehensive ones. Wish they had a richer drink selection. The space is quite large and suitable for most group sizes, so you will often hear chatter. There’s adequate parking space. Smoking is allowed on the front porch right at the entrance. Wish that was situated in a less intrusive area.

Wimpy wasn't what I expected—the name suggests burgers, but there are none on the menu. Instead, it offers excellent Lebanese and oriental dishes.The food is tasty and well-prepared. No alcohol is sold, but you can BYOB (with a liquor store conveniently two doors away). The decor is basic and lacks finesse, but the great food more than makes up for it. Worth a visit for authentic Lebanese flavors in Ibadan.

I really loved their service because the waiter was so patient nice and friendly. Took time to answer all questions although I had many 😁. The atmosphere was very welcoming too. The restaurant was always lively with people coming in and out. Their meals are quite affordable and nice especially the African dishes. I don't think my palate suits Chinese dishes.

October 15, 2023. If you are visiting Nigeria for the first time or you are a foreigner living in Nigeria, Wimpy Restaurant is one of the coolest place to visit. A foreigner will definitely feel at home here. It is located along Kudeti Avenue, Onireke GRA road, Jericho, Ibadan. It is 850 metres away from The Jericho Mall, Ibadan. This is not a road side restaurant, because it is situated in a serene and clean environment. You may mistaken it for a private residence. The compound is large enough to accommodate as many cars as possible. They have different kinds of dishes ranging from african, asian and european dishes. They have different kinds of drinks as well. A portion of meal is big enough to satisfy an adult and the meals are very delicious. It is an expensive place, however it is still affordable for an average nigerian. They have large sitting space both inside an outside. Excellent customer service. The staff are warm and friendly.
