Calido is a really pleasant surprise, especially considering it’s located within the rather unimpressive grounds of Tahir Guest Palace. Once you get past that, however, it’s a beautiful rooftop spot with a lovely view of Kano that immediately elevates the experience. Apparently, it’s a beloved birthday destination, there were multiple celebrations happening the same evening I visited, which added to the lively, upscale atmosphere. I was a guest at the hotel and stopped by Calido just for tea and dessert, so I can’t speak extensively on the full menu, but the tea was very nice and the tres leches cake was absolutely divine. The ambiance is top-tier and the vibes are elite. I also really appreciated the wet wipes on the tables, small touch, big impact, and the service was attentive throughout. All in all, it’s a great spot for a chic evening out, celebrations, or a relaxed rooftop hang.

A superb restaurant that completely exceeded my expectations, especially for a city like Kano. We had the shrimp baos and various types of Sushi which were delicious. The general manager Quassim is very involved, super nice and you can see that he is passionate about his job. The service was good and quick. Plus add in a beautiful view over the city! I recommend without any reservations. Note though that the adress on google maps is not correct. The restaurant is located on top of Tahrir Guest Palace.

This is the best restaurant in Kano!!!! Best meals(I’m not joking), great drinks, lovely environment, everything is 10/10. My only problem is that they open by 2😭 and have a fly problem. The flies are not so much but as a very observant person, I didn’t like them at all. Other than that, go and have your mind blown!
