Visited Pak Tea House after getting really tired from walking in Lawrence Garden and decided to have breakfast there. The menu isn’t very extensive, so we ordered tea and a sandwich. The food was okay, nothing extraordinary, but the real charm of the place is its history. Pak Tea House is a very well-known historical café where many famous writers, poets, and intellectuals used to gather even before the creation of Pakistan. Inside, you’ll find pictures of many legendary personalities who visited this place, which makes the atmosphere feel very nostalgic and cultural. There’s also a small library on the second floor, which makes the place even more peaceful and unique. It’s a quiet spot where you can sit, read, and enjoy the historic vibe of Lahore. Pak Tea House is more than just a chai spot it’s a living piece of Lahore’s cultural and literary history. Recently visited after hearing about its renovations. While the efforts are appreciated, there’s still a strong need for the government or relevant bodies to step in and truly preserve this heritage landmark with the care it deserves. Ordered chai, samosas, and sandwiches classic, comforting, and served with a nostalgic charm. The chai was aromatic and balanced, samosas crisp and flavorful, and sandwiches simple yet satisfying. Service was polite, and the ambiance still holds that old-school magic. This place must not fade into memory it deserves restoration that respects its iconic status.

I was really disappointed with my visit here, after reading the good reviews I expected a friendly and welcoming place. However, the staff were not welcoming. The atmosphere is quiet and weird and you can smoke indoors. The tea was fine, nothing special. When paying they said they didn't have change, so basically taking extra money and overcharging
