I went to this shop twice on my last trip to Lisbon. The coffee was great both times. It was my second time ordering an espresso tonic out at a shop. I’ve been making them at home after enjoying my first one so much. I had a pao de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread) both times at The Coffee. We also had the matcha latte both times, they were good but the matcha did not seem very fresh based on the more brown-green color. The coffee has a clean aesthetic with a serious coffee drinker vibe to it.

A beautifully designed Japanese/tech-themed coffee shop with a very unique atmosphere. Perfect for a break when visiting the Alfama district. They serve freshly roasted specialty coffee from different origins, and every cup was crafted with real care and precision. The coffee quality was excellent, and the selection of treats was just as impressive — everything tasted fresh and delicious. A perfect spot for specialty coffee lovers in Lisbon.

Came across The Coffee as we were exploring the steep side roads. This coffee shop is tucked away in an alleyway nearby a few other coffee shops. From the exterior it looks very inconspicuous. However, inside it’s very modern and they serve great iced coffee. You order via an iPad which is situated at the front desk and the coffee is served very quickly. As the space is quite small, you’re sat quite close to the barista as well as the other customers (not a bad thing, as it adds to the cosy vibe.
