I’m a regular customer at Locals Cafe and usually love their coffee and products, which is why this experience was very unexpected. We ordered the scones, but they had a strange saffron-like taste that made them difficult to eat. When we asked the waitress about it, the reaction was dismissive and there was no effort to handle the situation, offer an alternative, or show the usual hospitality you would expect. We ended up leaving the scones untouched, and honestly the service response was more disappointing than the product itself.
