The service is honestly what brought us in and the staff were genuinely lovely and welcoming. Unfortunately the food did not make us want to come back :( It did not taste very fresh and overall just felt a bit underwhelming. The atmosphere also felt a little cold, quiet, and slightly eerie at times. When more people came in it definitely felt more lively, but otherwise the ambience was not very inviting and there barely seemed to be any music playing. Such a shame because the service side was really good.

I went to Next Chapter with my partner and her dad to celebrate getting a job after 4 months of unemployment. Firstly, the portion sizes are really good here, which is great. We ordered a garlic cheese roll as a starter, it's not an official starter (I think) but it was the size of one, it had the right amount of garlic to cheese. I ordered the chicken wrap. It was good, the chicken was well seasoned, the sauce seemed to be like an olive oil or a Greek salad dressing but it was still nice. My partner and her dad ordered a meat platter, it came with chicken wings, lamp chops, beef, onion rings, fries. My partner thought the meat was fine, not eat again fine, just it was ok for now. My partner's dad seemed to have enjoyed it. I had a taste of the beef and chicken, the chicken wings were well seasoned but a bit too meaty (like kind of plain if that makes sense on the inside) and I didn't like the BBQ taste of the beef.
