Tripea was an amazing experience in a quiet Spanish market. From beginning to end the food was delicious and beautiful, creating a memorable experience. Food was superb. The quaint atmosphere of being in a market was really cool, and the service was really exceptional. The only negative I have is that it could be quite hot inside but nevertheless the food, service , and experience in this Peruvian/Asian fusion greatly outweighs any negatives I could come up with. Can’t wait to return.

Difficult to compare this to other restaurants that serve a tasting menu because this is based in a Mercado which I was already aware of before attending. Price for value is well worth it. This is strictly fusion. So if you are expecting clean and simple flavours it is not the place for you. The food is of high quality - my favourite was the tuna cerviche and carrillera. I would definitely recommend giving it a go. Creative and attractive dishes and staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Incredible restaurant just as I thought! I have been wanting to come to this place and try the set menu and luckily I found a last minute stop. The food was so great and we ended up full but not overly done, it was tasty, great portions and amazing price. The wine was also so interesting! We tried a bubbly Albariño which was the first of its genre I’d ever tried and it paired super well with the food. This restaurant in the Vallehermoso Market in Madrid is a gem! A fusion of Peruvian and Asian influences the food is great! It’s understandably popular so reservations need to be made one month in advance. The service was efficient and friendly. Every dish of the fixed tasting menu was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The market is a full of character but is a touch rough and tumble, but in my opinion, the location adds to the overall experience.
