We ordered the tasting menu, and the first two courses were covered in mayonnaise, presented more like food from a home or school canteen. When you walk in, the atmosphere makes you say “wow,” but the food and service don’t meet expectations, especially for a place aiming to be Michelin-level. Wonderful restaurant! It was our final dinner in Caceres and was a spectacular meal. We were seated in the courtyard below the tower which creates a beautiful atmosphere. My wife and I decided on the tasting menu with a bottle of Riesling. Each part of the menu was delicious. The prawns had a flavor that was unique. The fish course had a substitute of scallop in a peanut sauce topped with foam. The Russian salad was great and the acorn fed pork was spectacular!
