Marija Hefer★★★★★The restaurant was excellent, Fran is the best. I would absolutely say that this is the best fine dinning in Cuenca. We paid 40 € per person and got a full 6 course tasting of various meals + free drinks. Absolutely fair pricing with excellent service - would recommend to everyone.
Sie-Hang Cheung★★★★★Came here because of a recommendation and it didn't disappoint! The Vaca mayor menu is a lot of beef, but all are amazing quality. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the owner, Fran and his energy will make you feel very welcome. Food is server fast, so make sure you're hungry.
Kirsteen Roberts★★★★We were celebrating a Birthday, our reserved table was down steep stairs, not great if you have mobility issues. Downstairs was very quiet, no music or atmosphere, upstairs seemed to be booked, if we wanted upstairs we should have asked. The starters and mains were lovely , we ordered beef, and lamb with a couple of tasty starters. However the desserts were very disappointing , the Philipino Cake and Pistacio Cake had no taste, when we asked what Philipino Cake was meant to taste like , the waitress showed us a photo on Google of a Philipino candy bar, with the words white chocolate ??? Felix★★★Bit of a disappointing experience and feels well overrated. I think that’s because we ordered a la carte and not the menu - so don’t make that mistake and go for the menu when you do decide to go. A la carte dishes were incredibly small, too pricey for that, the main dishes came without any sides - the only reason we didn’t leave hungry is because of the unlimited bread you get. Wine selection is nice and reasonably priced. The ambience is not great - we actually had a decent table, but many others were quite bad, eg next to an ugly room where they keep fridges for drinks etc with the door alw
