We were looking for somewhere to eat while spending a night in Lugo with our dog when we came across this restaurant with an outside terrace. The guy serving was really helpful, especially when it came to our lack of Spanish! He also made a fuss of our dog! The food was really nice, especially the octopus, and the portions were bigger than we expected. I'd recommend this place, especially if you are looking for somewhere dog friendly.

When you’re in Lugo, El Café del Centro is an absolute must visit. Established in 1903, this historic café has been serving locals and visitors for generations. The espresso is excellent, and their churros with chocolate are on another level, crispy, light, and perfect for dipping. Pro tip: get there early, because they usually sell out by 11am! While you’re there, you have to try the Pulpo Gallego. Galicia is famous for its octopus (they even have entire festivals dedicated to it). A true taste of local tradition and one of the highlights of Lugo!

Great view of the park and warming heaters on a cold day. Salmon was beautifully cooked and salad was fresh. Enjoyed the show watching the poor waiter try and keep the pigeons at bay. Thank you!
