We had the daily menu for €17 which included 2 breads, starter, main and dessert or café, and soft drink. We tried the Fabada (Asturian white beans with morcilla, chorizo and bacon) for a starter that seemed more like a main dish because the portion was big. After that tried Pitu caleya which is free range Asturian chicken in a thick sauce with brandy and wine served with French fries. The meat is darker than the usual chicken and stronger taste and so tender that it falls of the bone. I chose Arroz con leche and my mum a café con leche. I had to ask the dessert for take away as hardly managed

Authentic Asturian food in the heart of Oviedo. My cheese and strawberry salad was fresh with a delicious dressing and the bacalou tempura was light and well seasoned. Service was friendly and the prix fixe menu of three courses for 17 euros is excellent value.
