The bald waiter wasn't very friendly at first, doesn't speak any English but he turned out to be very helpful after all. The restaurant has an excellent quality/price ratio and I would highly recommend their pinchos, anchovies (anchoas de Santoña) and tortillas.

We stayed in the Sandoñana apartment for the duration of our stay in Santander The apartment was immaculate, beautifully finished and had everything we needed and more Sandoñana is one of the best restaurants in Santander so being able to pop downstairs for an incredible meal was perfect We had so many of the dishes and loved every single one Portions were fantastic as was the price I cannot recommend this place enough
