Last weekend I visited Monsoon Restaurant located on Park Street. The ambiance was so beautiful and the place had a very elegant atmosphere. Such a nice ambience and a great place for a quick business lunch. The calm setting makes it perfect for conversations, and it wasn’t crowded at the time we went. We ordered Nasi Lemak and Pad Thai, both of which were really good and well portioned. As a starter, we tried the recommended fried cauliflower but not our favourite, but still decent and nicely presented. The restaurant has ample seating space and a relaxed vibe. The staff were super nice and very welcoming, always attentive. They even served king coconut, beautifully cut and presented, along with the entire king coconut shake , a lovely local touch. Overall, Monsoon Colombo is a good choice for casual dining, business lunches, or even a relaxed catch-up. I would definitely recommend it. If you’re planning to visit on weekends or in the evening, it’s best to make a reservation, as Park Street tends to get overly crowded.

I would give minus 1000 if possible! I ordered Hainanese Chicken rice and Char Kway Teow through uber eats. The Hainanese chicken was stale and smelled like uncooked chicken blood. Half of chicken was smelly covered with blood in grey color, and the rest of the chicken was unseasoned without any salt or ginger. I was nauseated after eating Hainanese chicken. Don’t you have any morals to sell bad chicken to online customers??!!
