Awesome little bar. great for foreigners the bartenders speak English and Chinese fluently. drinks are good my friends n I had the jungle juice and few different types of whiskey. espresso martini was a surprise standout. foods are good here also the pizzas and truffle fries were tasty. tacos paired really well with the tequila of course. good pricing and great environment. overall would come back here again

We had a great time at Diamond Bar on our last night in Kaohsiung. The owner, James, is very affable, and the three of us had a great chat about life in Taiwan, leaving North America for Asia (which he and I have both done), and so on. The bar has a friendly atmosphere and the cocktails are excellent. I had a couple of Moscow mules which were made with just the right balance of ingredients, and my wife ordered an espresso martini and said that it was "the best one she had ever had." We really enjoyed our time there and only wish that we had discovered it earlier in our stay. But if we ever visit Kaohsiung again, we will be sure to return to Diamond Bar.

I just experienced a marriage proposal in this place today, and it made me to believe in real love. This is my favorite bar. On weekends you’ll find me here all the time. I just like the atmosphere ( the boss, bartenders, customers are very friendly and like to meet foreigners as I am one, the price is friendly too😀). The boss is naturally customer oriented and doesn’t force anything. It comes natural and is understanding. Long live Diamond bar.
