She was attentive, friendly, and very helpful, taking the time to recommend a value menu that was an excellent choice for us. Even though the food wasn’t as good as what I expected, the service was efficient and fantastic! The restaurant is pet friendly, I believe it’s a big plus for the per owners. I have no pets but I have nothing against that. I had omelette, it came with a glass of smoothie and a glass of tea. I liked what I ordered, but my friend was a bit disappointed with his spaghetti. Maybe we’ll try something different next time.

The food was alright. What I want to point out is the fact that the staff embellished way too much when she introduced the menu: she recommended the Coke Zero "because you can't find it anywhere else". You can absolutely get Coke Zero at PX Mart, ok? When I asked her about the soup of the day, she said it's corn soup, but "it incorporates a lot of local flavours that represent the taste of Tainan" -- it's actually the most ordinary corn soup with ham. I'm not saying that's it's from a can, but it's so ordinary that it might as well be. It's by no means bad, nor is the price not justified. I just don't appreciate the dishonest practice of trying to pretend to be an upscale restaurant when in fact it's a very mediocre, but solid family restaurant. Please just be honest.
