Review for Lakeside Kitchen ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Food: 11/10 – Absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor and felt freshly prepared. The menu has something for everyone, and it’s clear a lot of love goes into the cooking. Service: 8/10 – Friendly and welcoming staff, but the service could be a little faster. That said, the warmth of the team makes up for the wait. Location: 11/10 – Perfect. Whether you’re a digital nomad looking for a peaceful work spot, a parent wanting a kid-friendly space, or just planning a solo or family date, Lakeside Kitchen delivers. The outdoor setting is serene, quiet, and relaxing, with a kids’ area and close proximity to the city for convenience. Prices: 15/10 – For the quality and portion sizes, the prices are unbelievably affordable. Definitely great value for money. Overall, Lakeside Kitchen is a gem worth visiting again and again. Three times I've been to the place and in all the occasions I had the most incredible dining experience in Mwanza city. The service is unmatched and the staff was attentive. The flavours in each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The atmosphere is warm and inviting.

We came mostly for the milkshakes, the Oreo Milkshake is a dream. The kids could play on the playground. Relaxing atmosphere in the lush garden. The preparation took about 30minutes, which is okay. We only ate some chipsy mayaj which was really nice arranged on a plate. I think for other dishes you need to bring more time. We got some mishkaki that wasn't very well done. The DJ booth on a Saturday afternoon is a bit unnecessary, since the audience is mostly families and kids. Still better than the traffic noise! Edit: also tried the takeaway pizza (margarita), which was fair. A bit more spice/salt (dough was kinda sweet) but thats easy to fix yourself. 2000tsh extra for the takeaway Box.

Went to visit this place due to the rave reiews..greatly over-rated unfortunately..cappuccino was flat no frothy milk..they didn't even bring sugar with it. burger looked attractive but bland. The French fries were tasty though... the ambience is great but service and especially food was a let down..can't recommend based on this visit.

We were greeted by a gracious host who then took the trouble of setting up a lounge for two. We were served by a waiter (Baraka) who was not only very polite and friendly but also super attentive to our needs and always eager to assist. The food was excellent cooked to perfection worthy of a 5 star review. All in all I'm definitely looking forward to paying Lake Side Kitchen another visit.
