The staff was very informative to us. Initially we wanted to order a plate of rice for each of us but was recommended that the rice noodles dish is large so we didn't order the rice for all. And we really glad that we didn't else we would not be able to finish it

Baan Ice is located on Level 4 of Central Ladprao. The branch is known for its authentic southern food. Spacious seatings and good ambient. Food itself is quite good here. Up to standards compared to the original restaurant (flagship) at Prachachuen area. Quick prompt service by servers. Prices are quite pricey compared to others southern Thai food restaurants inside a shopping centre.

The restaurant was pretty full, mostly Thai families and couples enjoying a Saturday lunch. It was a good menu, only Thai dishes, and a bit different than many Thai places that seem to serve everything. They had salads, soups, curries, several fish dishes. The dining room was very nicely furnished, clean with both booths and table seating. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was very good, nice size portions and reasonably priced considering it’s in Central a very nice restaurant. I read that it can be very busy at peak dinner times, but there though crowded there was no wait for lunch. I will go back.

The food was amazing, especially if you love Southern Thai flavors. I really enjoyed the Sator Kapi Goong—the shrimp paste with stink beans was packed with flavor. The Khai Palo was rich and comforting. The Gaeng Som Pla Krapong was spicy, tangy, and full of depth—definitely one of the highlights. Even the shrimp head was delicious, and the Thai-style omelette was simple but done really well. Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic Southern Thai food in a nice mall setting. Great for both family meals and casual hangouts.
