O que as pessoas dizem

Lower than my expectations. The food was more towards salty taste but I’d prefer a bit sweet taste. However, for those who like salty taste might enjoy it. What I love about this place is free rice and there was two kinds of rice white Jasmine rice and Homnil Rice.

Alex★★★★★

Great food, fun atmosphere and decent wines, what more could you ask for? All the dishes are great and they make an effort to find old, historical recipes that showcase the culture. Our waiter was very helpful and we loved everything ordered. The only downside is we were seated in the newly renovated section and should have requested a room in the original location.

Had a great experience at The Local in Bangkok. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance with a traditional Thai setting that gives an authentic feel. The food was really good, with rich flavors and well-presented dishes. It’s a great place to try local Thai cuisine in a more refined and comfortable environment. The staff were polite and attentive, making the overall dining experience even better. Overall, a very enjoyable place for a proper Thai meal, especially if you want a mix of authentic taste and a nice atmosphere.

Had a wonderful dinner here with my friends. The restaurant has a charming traditional Thai atmosphere, and every dish we ordered was delicious. The curry chicken was our favorite dish—it was packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. Great food, excellent service, and a memorable experience with my friends!

I had the set menu. Was really good food, but abit too spicy for me. The waiter was helpful with explaining each course. I asked to delay time between each course as I wanted to enjoy my time and not be rushed. Good job that I did, as the couple next to me came an hour after me, and their courses were coming out so fast that they hadn't even finished one and the next was out... they were finished before I was. I couldn't eat everything as it was very spicy and alot of food... but was tasty. I think the dessert could have been abit more interesting than the basic mango with sticky rice.

The food here is fantastic! I tried the appetizer set and the steamed fish, and both were delicious. It was quite crowded during my visit, so I wasn't able to get a table in the air-conditioned section. The outdoor seating was a bit uncomfortable as it gets quite hot, even with fans, and there were a few mosquitoes. Definitely come here for the authentic Thai food, but try to arrive early or book ahead if you want a table inside.

This is a simple, elegant Thai restaurant where you can bring guests, entertain clients as well as have a great date night out. The ambience is great with fine service and attentive service staff. When we walked into the door, we were immediately greeted and brought to our table. And we are ready to order when we want dishes brought to our table when you needed an extra thing it was always a service staff ready at our call and they also helped answer some of our questions that we had about some of the dishes. Additionally, when they brought out some of the platters, they explained to us what were the dishes and helped clarify some of the food choices. The food was great with some interesting twists. Our appetiser platter is a must have - with a variety of dishes. Some were on the experimental side with the flower wrap and some were on the safer side such as the pandan chicken. Helps challenge your tastebuds while still keeping within your comfort zone. The curries were executed mast

I visited The Local in back in July and made a reservation for Sunday lunch a few days ahead. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere wasn’t as warm or welcoming. Our waiter was attentive, but the rest of the staff made us feel like we were a bit of a burden. I noted on my reservation and again before ordering that I’m a pescatarian. While it was my fault for not reading the description closely, the deep-fried sea bass ended up containing chicken. The catch of the day (snapper) with lime juice, chili, and garlic was easily the best thing we ordered —something I still think about. The appetizer platter looked nice, but the flavors were flat and didn’t taste very fresh. The pineapple fried rice was okay, and honestly I should’ve just gone with the purple rice. The day-aged cobia fish was a solid option if you want something on the lighter side. People say mango sticky rice tastes the same everywhere but I beg to differ. The one here was one of the best I had in Thailand. The food
