🍝🇮🇹 Rustico is a fantastic spot in Aberdeen, especially if you’re looking for great gluten-free options! I was so impressed by the gluten-free garlic pizza bread 🧄🍕 — crispy, flavourful, and honestly just as satisfying as the regular version. It’s not always easy to find good gluten-free starters, but this one was excellent. The gluten-free carbonara was also delicious 🍝✨, with perfectly cooked pasta and a rich, comforting sauce that made for a really enjoyable meal. Absolutely wonderful ! From the moment you step in you feel welcome - the staff are very friendly and attentive. My friend opted for the 3 course lunch menu which is excellent value for money; garlic bread, carbonara and banoffee cheesecake - £15 - she couldn’t eat it all but the restaurant gladly offered takeaway box for later. I opted for a dish from the à la carte menu - a gorgeous seafood stew which came with some garlic bread and roasted vegetables - it had delicious tomato sauce, large plump king prawns, small piece of monkfish, some calamari and an abundance of mussels. Food was lovely, good quality, and the staff provided great service. However, we were charged £49 for two three-course meals and a glass of wine at lunchtime. When we left, we initially assumed this included a service charge, which would have been fine. Unfortunately, it later became clear there had been an error with the dessert charges. We chose this restaurant specifically because of the lunch deal, so it was disappointing to end the experience with a billing issue.

best Italian in Aberdeen alongside al fresco. the seafood pasta dishes are delicious. i go here on a regular basis. the servers are hit and miss though. sometime they are lovely, sometimes rude. sometimes professional and sometimes like it's their first day on the job.
