We were going on holiday flying from Birmingham a couple of hours after the England v Mexico world cup game and coming down from Sheffield we wanted a pub close to the airport who was showing the game and serving food. I found this pub on google and i just want to say what a great pub this is. On arrival, our online booking confirmation (we booked on the day) for a table had not gone through at the pub. It was quiet considering it was a Sunday. The food tasted very nice but was warm not hot which spoiled it .I had to ask twice for my dessert which I ordered with my meal. When asked if everything was ok I said the meal was not hot and the reply was sorry about that . I find the young staff unresponsive, they dont speak to you .They put your meal on the table and walk away . So overall a bit disappointing

Great service and hospitality from Adrian and the staff here at the Olton Tavern. Spent a couple of hours here today enjoying the facilities and atmosphere with friends. Food coming from the kitchen looked top notch and I'll be bringing the wife back soon to enjoy a meal. Lovely place... Plenty of parking Damian
