Visited Chai Spot in Acton regularly, and it’s genuinely one of the more popular local chai cafés in the area. To my knowledge it’s not a chain, which gives it a more independent feel compared to larger branded chai spots. The space has a modern, stylish, trendy design and the menu is updated seasonally, which keeps things fresh. It’s clearly a favourite with locals and often gets busy, particularly with professionals and students working on laptops. I’m from Mexico and I visited The Chai Spot last week. I tried the vanilla cold foam matcha and it was really amazing. The staff were very friendly, especially the tall girl (I don’t know her name). We were really confused with all the drink options, but she was so patient and kind. She even gave us a pink Kashmiri chai to taste, and my wife really loved it. We also tried karak tea, matcha and the red berry cold drink – everything was delicious. If we visit London again, we would definitely love to come back to The Chai Spot. The food came very late(35 minutes), I thought because of the long duration that they were going bring out all of our 7 orders but they only brought out three. The eggs, turkey bacon and mushroom came out cold. The mushrooms were too crispy and thin. Waited 45 minutes for some chips and 50 minutes for the desi breakfast. On the bright side after we complained about the first three orders, they did bring the rest of the orders hot so they do have potential and hopefully they can improve on this sector of the business. I’m really disappointed to be writing this review, as I’ve had good experiences at this café in the past and genuinely liked the food and drinks before. Unfortunately, my visit today for breakfast was very poor and everything seemed to go wrong. When I walked in, the place felt quite uncomfortable – no music and no real atmosphere. At the counter, I ordered a chai latte with oat milk and an English breakfast. I had a few questions about the breakfast, but the staff member clearly struggled to understand them and appeared unfamiliar with the menu herself, so I eventually just ordered it “as it
