I keep on refusing to go to eat Indian food because in general I find the offerings substandard or greasy or lacking in protein or heavy or all of the above. I booked our table at Le Raj a few weeks ago mainly for my husband, who loves Indian food. Much better than your average Indian restaurant but not as good as Rawalpindi in Twickenham used to be is how I would put it. A lovely place for intimate dinners or celebrations with anyone you love. Visited Le Raj recently and honestly had a really nice experience. The food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavour, i really loved their chicken tikka masala and specially the naan was soft and fresh. Staff were very welcoming ,polite and friendly. The place has a relaxed atmosphere, good for both family dinners and casual nights out. Service was quick even though it was fairly busy. Prices were reasonable for the quality and portion sizes too. Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants around Epsom. Would happily go back again.
