I arrived at this quaint venue expecting excellent food, having read the reviews but I must say I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong the food is good and well presented but the garlic mushrooms were very mild, I could barely taste garlic. The chicken wings were bland and a bit dry. The pie was very nice and tasty as were the chips. The steak which is what I went for was overcooked but still moist, definitely not medium rare. Overall it's a nice place serving nice food but I've had better food for the same price elsewhere.

Me and partner have been going more or less weekly for the best part of 2 years and we have never had a bad experience all the staff are very friendly and you can see they have a true passion for what they do they go above and beyond for you always make sure you enjoyed and always make you feel welcome and the food is by far the best place in Barnsley!
