Even though I went 1 hour before closing today, it was nice. Didn't get judged and pleasant staff. Thank you to the Muslim brother who was kind to my toddler when serving us. Being a mum can be very isolating from community but getting a chance to be outdoors and go out with my toddler was an achievement and I am going to keep trying. Small acts of kindness gets us through the day. Quiet but relaxing atmosphere too. 😌 good food portion and worth it. 👌

Really nice cafe. Very busy but service is friendly. Sometimes a bit slow as they were very busy. The portions are big and food is classic cafe food. The only things are I asked for a buttered roll and received an un toasted burger bun. Definitely a difference. Cafes should have standard buttered white roll it’s quite common, a burger bun is very different texture and this was a processed one which didn’t taste good unless toasted. Also the fruit smoothie was very watery and had no taste, definitely frozen berries and fruits. The price is decent.

The staff are probably the friendliest in all of Basingstoke. They'll welcome you and try to meet your every request (just ask). It might feel rushed, but they really do care about customer experience. I once made a comment about something on my plate, they quickly replaced my entire order with profuse apologies and without making any excuses. Service is reasonably fast, and for quality is consistently good each time. One minor quibble I have (sorry! 😅) is that the knives for customers need sharpening. The last few times we have visited, the knives have been so blunt that it's hard to cut to
