Food was delicious, service was fine. My husband and I split a bottle of wine and got a pepperoni pizza with fresh chili which was the perfect amount. However our server never really checked with us and never offered Parmesan or water refills. Other tables, all with other Europeans, were not only offered water refills but were given a refill pitcher and he offered fresh grated Parmesan. The ambiance was nice and the menu had a wide variety so would overall recommend but if you’re American, you might have to be a little less precious about the service you get.

It’s been a long time since I ate such deliciously prepared dishes 🤤. The squid rings were tender and nicely chewy, you could even feel the juiciness. The shrimps were literally bursting, and what a tasty sauce came with them — together with that bread it was pure heaven 🤤. The risotto really let you feel how rich the seafood flavor was, the rice was super tender and elastic, and the basil refreshes everything so nicely. And the dessert — just like in Italy, so delicate and tasty, with no extra grease at all.

We ate here for my wife’s birthday. The food was uniformly excellent, especially the antipasto starter and our desserts of a light, fruity panna cotta and amaretto affogato. Drinks were high quality and I am always a fan of smaller carafes being available, rather than just whole bottles of wine. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, everyone seemed to be really invested in providing a welcoming experience. We were given free limoncello and an ice cream with sparkler for my wife’s birthday. There were plenty of larger parties and couples here; the menu had items to cat

Absolutely beautiful food, wine and service. Couldn't fault it. We shared a speciality starter of octopus, which was divine; then mains of tagliatelle delizia and costata di manzo - which were outstanding! Sadly we didn't take photos!! The staff were attentive and enthusiastic about this family run business. Honestly, it may not be Instagram pretty but the food, wine, atmosphere and staff were outstanding. We will return to Bath and will definitely be returning to Colosseo.
