We popped in for cocktails on a rather damp day and were warmly welcomed by the staff, though our first impression was the lovely atmosphere itself, with the central winding staircase leading to the upper floor and roof terrace. Everything felt well presented and thoughtfully arranged, with little corners where one can sit, relax, and get away from the rush and noise of a busy city. It really is something to behold. Particularly fascinating was the bar area itself, with the counter and surrounding features crafted from old copper brewing equipment connected to the history of the Badger Brewery

Came in for a drink with friends, was very surprised how large it was inside, with three floors (the top being a roof terrace), and all were very nicely decorated/styled. The middle floor was for food, and the other floors appeared to be drinks only. The bar was located downstairs and was quite large with a number of helpful and friendly staff serving, so we didn't have to wait long to get our drinks. I had the Bath Helles which was pretty good, and as the sun was out being able to chill on the roof terrace was lovely

Visited for Sunday lunch and we were seated upstairs, albeit a bit slowly. A drinks order was taken but this turned up after the food did. The whole plate was quite dry as I assume they were stood under the heat lamp for a few hours. We did ask for more gravy as only the tiniest bit was plated. Overall fine, but nothing special.

A very up market feel, but the food was a bit of a let down. Reserved a table for 5, arrived on time, but had to wait a couple minutes for the table to be put together (fair enough). Were on the bottom floor, but the overall vibe was a posh, upmarket pub/restaurant, with a good atmosphere. Took a while to have our food and drinks ordered. But when that was done, it arrived at a reasonable speed (more so considering it was a busy Saturday evening). The food itself did not match the price/atmosphere. The menu itself had a good range.
