Went for a roast today and it was so dirty. When we went the bar to order our food it's was so sticky and old sticky, almost like glue. Said something about it and the staff just ignored me. My friend and I both work in hospitality, we found the state of the place shocking. The pot we were given our cutlery in was vile! The pepper shaker had dirt on the inside and dried crusty dirt on the top. We showed the staff member that cleared our plates and all they said was "oh sorry about that" but they didn't seem that bothered. Edit: I messaged The Three Stags on Facebook and received a heartfelt apology from Kelly, the manager. It seems that the usual staff was not present and a different team were manning the pub. So, hopefully, this is a one-off and normal service will be resumed today. With luck, my next review will be great Original review: Totally unsatisfactory experience this evening. We had a lovely family meal in a private part of the pub. There were 18 of us. We pre-ordered our meals and the service was faultless. All of the meals arrived together and the staff were really friendly and attentive. We will definitely return. Thanks Sue for serving us

I visited The Three Stags in Bebington for dinner on a busy Saturday evening and was pleased we managed to find a nice table without too much trouble. We ordered drinks at the bar and then went ahead with our food order. The service was a little on the slow side overall, but the team were friendly and welcoming which made up for it. After a short wait the food arrived and I went for the fish and chips which were tasty and enjoyable. Overall it’s a nice pub serving good pub food and I’d happily pop back again.
