Mark Dathorne★★★★★Lovely pub for a meet. With some parking. Good choice of beer and spirits. Friendly helpful bar staff. Choice of outdoor seating areas. All on ground floor so easily accessible. Separate accessible toilet. Surprise party. Food was good though not sure if internally or externally provided. Really nice pub. Will return.
John Fredrickson★★★★★Really great sunday lunch at the White Horse. The roast beef was amazing! In a lot of places it will be tough and/or overcooked. Here it was fabulously medium rare and had great texture. The staff were friendly and helpful. They made us and our two dogs feel very welcome. The chef even came and gave the dogs some scraps of beef as a treat. We'll definitely be back here for sunday lunch again.
Captain Oates★We've eaten here on a number of occasions and loved it so we booked a table for 5 on Mothers day. Everything was fine and then we sat there with our drinks for 1 hour and 45 minutes before we saw any food. This was after I had asked a couple different waitresses what the problem was but got no real answers. Others in the place were grumbling too and we talked with some others who had the same experience. I can't believe how patient we all were. Eventually food started to come out very slowly a table at a time, it was excriciatingly slow. The starter, which was fine and then nearly an hour for
