I highly recommend McHugh's Bar & Restaurant in Belfast. We first sat outside, enjoying the sunshine with a delicious pint of Citra IPA. Later, we decided to move inside for a meal and escape the heat. The place is warm, colourful, and full of character, with exceptionally friendly and welcoming staff. There was even a live band playing traditional Irish music in the middle of the day, with fiddle and flute creating a wonderful atmosphere. We visited McHugh's three nights running. It has a wonderful, relaxed ambience. The staff are exceptional and go out of their way to look after you. Tge Guinness is beautiful! The food is tasty, well presented and absolutely delicious. It's good value for money, too. Be warned, the portion sizes are huge.... so make sure you're hungry!
