Incredibly charming establishment. The service was fantastic as always, and the vibe was great. The King Prawn & Devon Crab linguine had a lovely subtlety to its flavour that, rather than overpowering the linguine, complemented it to perfection. The pasta was just a tad overcooked - and the portion size a little small - but the food was most certainly tasty! £8.20 pints were a bit steep but the Asahi on tap was universally appreciated 🍺.

great venue, excellent service & good food. I spent 5 hours here for a works Xmas lunch. Food was really good bearing in mind they were serving 18 people. food tasty, veggie & vegan options. nicely de grated & really helpful & friendly staff, thanks had a lovely time

I went on Sunday lunchtime with friends for a Roast, and what a Roast it was! The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. The pub had a lovely atmosphere with a varied mixture of customers and beers! I highly recommend this gem of a pub!!

We had a great evening at this pub - it's a beautiful building and we were seated near the fire on a chilly evening. The vibe was lovely (it was quiz night) and we really enjoyed the food, I loved my prawn and crab linguine. Our server, William, was fabulous, even recommending a bottle of wine (a Fleurie), but all the staff seemed cheery - quite something on a cold Monday in February!
