Went for a late lunch in the week. Pub was quite and served quickly. Food was ok, chicken strips was the highlight! Found the mini hash browns very Saltley. Good choice of 4 different lagers. Young lady behind bar polite and friendly. Dog friendly. Nice big garden. Will return to try the Sunday roast.

Amazing pub! My family and I have been coming here for a good few years now, we love it! We have had many of lovely afternoons/nights here and Mother’s Day was no different. Lovely Sunday lunch- you make a booking on the website and they email you a confirmation. Website needs a makeover. That said, the service and food were good. Food came reasonably quickly. We had asked for all the food to be brought together. Both starters : halloumi and chicken tenders were good. Husband had a tasty hotdog with a huge portion of truffle fries. Both roasts were substantial. The meats were adequate portions. Personally the beans were over cooked and carrots were over salted . Roast potatoes and cauliflower cheese were good. I recently visited The Anchor Restaurant in Bexley , and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. Although there was a minor hiccup when my food was lost, the staff handled it amazingly well. They promptly made up for it, ensuring I was well taken care of. The customer service was excellent, turning what could have been a disappointing experience into a memorable one. I highly recommend this place for its great atmosphere
