The rooms are absolutely amazing size for what we needed, there were 5 of us per 3 double rooms and every room was a good size for what we needed. Only thing was water pressure in the shower but other than that everything was perfect. The service was absolutely amazing, there was always something to do around onsite which was brilliant as taking a little one places can be a pain - the fairground was absolutely brilliant, same as the swimming pool and the skyline was extremely spacious. Excellent first time experience at Butlins for the 3 of us. Our 4 year old absolutely loved every minute of it. 4 night stay Monday-Friday in the Shoreline Hotel. Yes, granted, few things look outdated. But if you can set aside your hopes for 5 star facilities you will have the best time ever. Customer Service from every single staff member we spoke to was amazing, customer service is a lost art form these days but it is alive and well in Butlins Bognor. Accommodation needs a bit of attention to the cleaning. Not dirty but needs a bit more over view. Floor staff are excellent. Only downside once holiday has started very hard to make any modifications. You will have to get used to 'can't do nothing now the holiday has started' The all inclusive packages are well worth it. We were assigned 'The Deck' for our food. Good variety and theme nights. The lunch add-on is a bit limited to what you can get which can make it hard to decide where to eat. The resort has some positives, but overall our experience was disappointing. The first issue was cleanliness. The rooms and public areas could be maintained to a higher standard. Most areas are carpeted, and overall hygiene throughout the resort could be improved. Guests should also be aware that many activities require additional payment. Although there are free facilities available, some of the most popular attractions, such as the Splash water park, can involve very long queues.
