Sometimes you walk into a place and feel that with just a bit of extra care, it could really shine. That was very much the impression we had. The atmosphere itself is genuinely lovely, comfortable seating, good temperature, pleasant music and noise levels. As a group, we all felt relaxed and at ease. Service-wise, the staff were not attentive, and the experience felt a little uncoordinated. We waited quite a long time for most things, and we had to ask for the dessert menu and this was swiftly taken without time to contemplate. We went to try out the ‘Happiest Menu’ today - 3 courses for £19. It was truly delectable with fresh potted crab, seasoned to perfection, steak frites with unlimited fries and praline tart & creme brûlée to round it off! Beautiful flavours all round and we were very impressed by the warm, friendly and attentive service by Alex! :D A lovely date night to be remembered! We will certainly be back!

Absolutely loved this place. Food was 10/10. The dessert was the best dessert I've ever tasted! (The mousse!) Friendly and attentive staff and the free drink when you reserve online is a really nice touch. Well worth the money, highly recommended!

Went to Côte in Bournemouth last night as a last minute booking. We eat early so arrived for a 5:15pm table. We were pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant quite busy at this time so the ambience was lovely. Staff were very attentive and friendly and our complimentary glass of bubbly arrived super quick - we had a code that we’d been given as new customers. Our starters arrived swiftly and were delicious: potted crab and a beetroot salad. Our mains were both the shredded chicken salad and sadly we didn’t have any grapes with ours despite the menu stating this hence the dropped food star.
