We visited Geccho’s Restaurant in Bridlington during the May Bank Holiday Monday this year, and despite the extremely hot weather outside, the restaurant was pleasantly cool thanks to the excellent air conditioning, which made our visit very comfortable. The restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine with fresh salads, Greek antipasti starters, seafood, and a great variety of dishes. Our food was absolutely delicious and tasted very fresh. So we booked here after receiving a gift voucher for my birthday. Shamefully, this was our first visit... but won't certainly be our last. Staff were really lovely. The right level of attentive service without being overbearing. Special mention to India who was great, Emilio for his maths skills 😀 and the new starter who's name I didn't catch. Really good, first time tonight and won't be the last. We went for an earlier dinner at 5:30 and it was quiet, staff were very attentive food was great. As the meal progressed, it got busier around 7pm and the staff were less attentive and forgot to get our dessert order but overall great experience. Menu was extensive and food was delicious! Best baklava I've ever eaten! Noticed that they are family friendly and have high chairs, also tables are nicely spaced out.

Lovely tasty meal…. But…. Spoilt by being placed on table 26 (for 2), felt like sitting on motorway central reservation with waiters dashing past both sides of us and we just felt in the way. That was after we had prebooked, whilst folks were just coming in without booking and getting decent tables and more attentive service. Did not feel loved! 🥲 Disappointed.
