I’ve been visiting Cafe Zen for years and can honestly say it’s the best cafe in Burton. The breakfasts are consistently excellent, the mochas are by far my favourite in town and the menu offers a fantastic variety of food with something for everyone. First time I visited with my husband's family and we all loved it! The full breakfast is excellent, well flavoured and neatly presented. The menu is well sorted, good size portions and drinks with fair prices. Where do I start outrageously bad food, I got the all day breakfast and I was surprised by the size of said breakfast only one egg one hashbrown !! FOR 9£!! no pork option available which wouldn't have been so bad if everything else made up for it, but it didnt the egg was half cooked and spewed all over the plate and the beans based like they been on the shelf for about a week then the sausages tasted like a shoe with a burger taste to it FOR 9£!! I actually was so offended by the food I left it all as it was inedible. Ive been around the country and eaten some wonderful full English breakfas

This place used to be my favourite, I came back after so long and it’s gone completely downhill. The food was not on point, like it used to be. Chips were greasy and the Venice panini had a tiny amount of sweet chilli sauce on one side (the main reason why I wanted it). The quality of the food used to be top, but sadly we won’t be coming back.
