The coffee is lovely, however the cake is kinda stale. The environment is great, inside seating area is big and staff are friendly. It wasn’t busy when we went there, with a good few staff around. The location is also quite good, but the price is a little expensive.

I had high hopes for the food as i had read that this place specialised in Jacket potatoes. The potatoes were okay but nothing special and tasted like they were cooked in the microwave. They were fluffy but almost too fluffy with no texture and no crispy crust. The toppings themselves were also not great. The ratatouille was watery, poor quality feta and cheddar, tuna too mayonnaisey and mushy. For £10-12 a jacket you could defo make it better at home.

Cafe with Meals Have been to this cafe for a while and finally decided to order something to eat rather than just a cup of coffee. The portion of food was very generous for its prices. You would not be hungry after the meal. Food and coffee quality may not be the best but everything was well cooked. Nothing tasted horrible. Freshly prepared for every order too. Every time I come to this cafe, the service is always great. Friendly and nice staff. The environment is always quiet and clean and tidy. The toilets are always clean too. It would be the cafe for you if you have a very limite

I've been meaning to visit here for about 30 years now and somehow today was the day! Delightful lunch, it would have been rude not to have plumped for the jacket potato and it did not disappoint. Super tasty served with a lovely salad. We took a couple of deserts away to eat at home later both of which were superb. Tatties has a great reputation and it lived up to it. Friendly prompt service from an attentive team. Thank you.
