We had a really lovely experience here. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, well-balanced, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was relaxed, and you can really feel that this is a place with tradition and character, which makes the whole experience even more special. A special mention to Hina, who looked after us – she was kind, attentive, and full of positive energy. She made us feel truly welcome and brought a great vibe to our table. We will definitely be coming back! 😊

It's a beautiful building. Our female server was witty and funny and fast. Nevertheless, the food was good, but not exceptional for the price. We were first given really dirty glasses. When I requested clean ones they were quickly wiped over with a dirty towel. (I sanitized them on my own.)

We ordered the lamb shank and the chicken and bacon and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The lamb shank was incredibly tender and full of rich flavor, and the chicken and bacon were creamy, comforting, and perfectly cooked. Everything was well presented and tasted amazing. A special shout-out to Mo, who gave us outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. His positive attitude really added to the experience. Highly recommend this place for great food and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back!

The Old Weavers House is conveniently located just around the corner from the Cathedral. We sat at a window table and enjoyed views of the water. Ali was an attentive server and helped us decide what to order. He mentioned that the chips are a different than other local chips and that the meat pies are the specialty of the house. Both were excellent! I wasn’t sure I’d like the puff pastry rather than a short crust pastry but it was flavorful and a nice pairing with the flavorful gravy. The roast was perfect and was served with a nice tender Yorkshire pudding. I’d love to come back in warm w
