I have just had the most horrendous experience in this café. We regularly visit this establishment and, while the service has never been particularly good, the food is usually tasty. Unfortunately, today was the worst experience I have ever had in any hospitality setting. My husband ordered a meal specifically without coleslaw or salad dressing due to allergies. When the food arrived, both coleslaw and salad dressing were on his plate. When my husband pointed this out, the waiter—who we later discovered was the owner—walked away without saying a word. Looks like a nice place and I'd love to visit. It's a shame the opening hours seem geared towards people who don't work standard weekday hours, as I'm at work Monday to Friday from 9 to 5. The Saturday closing time is also a bit early for me. After a week's work, I like to take things slowly on a Saturday morning and have a lie-in, so unfortunately I haven't had a chance to visit yet.
