The chips tasted so foul. Absolutely disgusting. Tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in weeks. And I felt I wasn’t the only one that didn’t like the chips. Many other customers around had just got up and left and left the chips or whatever was fried on their plates they had left. If I get food poisoning later I will definitely complain to whoever is in charge of the kitchen. You are meant to change the oil 1-3 times a week depending on how busy it is. This isn’t the first time I have disliked food from here too. I did have food poisoning here before. That was last year and my mum also suff

First time visiting this pub on 5th Jun. After long wait we finally got our food, but the staffs were really friendly. However, I received a letter from euro car parks today saying I have to pay £100 for "not authorised parking"! And on the letter it's also saying I will lose the option to pay in discount if I appeal, like it threatening to cost my fortune just for using the pub parking as a customer. Very upset. Updates: called the pub and the lady over the phone said she can help to void it. I'm going to pop there after work, hopefully it will get sorted quickly.

Went for work drinks and food. Food was nice and delivered to the table and so were drinks. You can use the app/online from the QR code to order to table or go up to the bar. The music wasn't to my taste (Friday night) but thats nothing on the place itself. Friendly staff and everyone in the Tollgate was friendly.
