I had a really disappointing experience at the drive-to-collect . It is not my problem if she have a bad day, I arrived and say good morning and she treated me as nothing. The blonde lady who attended me was extremely disrespectful and dismissive from the start. There was no basic courtesy, no greeting, and the whole interaction felt unnecessarily unpleasant. It’s frustrating because you expect at least a minimum level of professionalism, especially when you’re just trying to pick up your order quickly. Instead, I was left feeling unwelcome and irritated. I frequent the Caffe Nero on the corner of Elliot Road and Chiswick High Street, primarily because of an amazing deal with Three, which gives me discounted coffees. The coffee is OK – not the best, but not the worst either. The service is similarly middle-of-the-road; it’s acceptable, but nothing to write home about. The decor is typical of Caffe Nero, which means it’s starting to feel a bit dated. A fresher design would be a welcome change. Friendly staff? I have been coming here 3 weeks and I greet them every day you would imagine they know my name and very simple drink but alas sadly no. What I like about this place is the downstairs section and the music it's classical. The service is very quick and they do bring hot food to your table. Not as good as the Nero in Russell Square, for a 5* go there. Upstairs is way to tight.
