Sunday table of 4 (brunch) Visit was 5 stars without a doubt! Amazing staff that are very attentive in giving all us great service, drinks were hot and came quickly after deciding on the menu it all looked and tasted gorgeous. Left us all with full a belly and had to take cake home. Highly recommended! To the person on the previous comment I think your choice of place maybe a weathersoons suited to yourself as I find this place to be one of the best if not the best in darwen.

What a wonderful experience from our visit tonight, which coincided with our wedding anniversary. From start to finish, the evening was truly remarkable. To begin with, the food was outstanding. I enjoyed the chili beef salad as my starter, and it was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. My husband opted for the black pudding bon bons, which he described as very delicious. A 'hidden in plain sight' gem. The tearoom is next door (but part of the same building) as Darwen Antiques and Gifts, or, if you're the same age as me, the old Bowling Green pub. We visited midweek lunch, and there were several people in, but there were plenty of free tables. Orders were taken and served quickly. Very nicely presented. Staff were polite. Good value too. Can't fault it! Apparently, they also provide event catering services too.

I come here regularly with my family. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to and the food is definitely worth the price. I would recommend the mini afternoon tea (we usually share as there is so much!) for ~£7.95. My little sister wanted a substitute for tea/coffee and they kindly agreed to give her chocolate milk - thanks a bunch! The scones are also delicious and all the food we have got so far is fresh and tasty. There are a variety of cakes, sandwiches, meals, salads, soups, drinks, etc. Note that you have to book beforehand.
