Excited to visit this new restaurant which what used to be the DRI hospital. With the Nightingale statue out front, it certainly looks spectacular! I went in my casual suit and have to say I felt underdressed. It was great to see everyone dressed up that attended and it really is a high class venue, even more than other high end places that have opened recently. The welcome was warm and great to be seated and told where the washrooms were. Water and butter in a glass ready on the table, just these little touches that make all the difference. What a fantastic experience at The PepperPot! We are visiting from Hampshire and after winning an award recently our waitress Abbie gifted us with a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a card congratulating us. She was superb and made the evening so much more special. The scallop for starter and the pork belly for main were incredible! Best dining experience we’ve had for a very long time

Exquisite tasting food. A top chef has obviously prepared this food to the highest level. It felt like a special occasion which it was! If I’m honest the portions on the mains were a tad small, but better to get a smaller exquisite meal expertly made, than a lot of something average! This was another level of cuisine. Chris the host was lovely throughout, making us feel very welcome. He showed just the right level of friendliness, whilst remaining the right side of professional. That’s not an easy balance to pull off, but Chris did manage that with ease. Service was speedy and professional.
