This restaurant offers a warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated atmosphere, creating a very romantic setting despite being located on one of Edinburgh’s busy streets. This is a lovely restaurant in Edinburgh. The staff are helpful and friendly. We had wine, water and cocktails to drink. We had a Crostini starter, pasta for the main and shared a chocolate torte dessert. The food is authentic Italian. There is enough choice on the menu with vegetarian options available. I would definitely recommend that you book a table in advanve. This is quite a small restaurant and due to the quality of the restaurant and it's location (just off the Royal Mile) it is very popular. I don't think you would get a table from just popping in. The food is very good quality

We called ahead to ask about availability at La Laconda, and their team advised to come in by 5pm, and they will save us a table. The food was fantastic, from the starters to dessert. We had the classic pasta with meatballs and the lasagna... the sauce was so flavorful! The restaurant is small ans cosy with a great view at the front window. The service was great too.... we will go back the next time we are in Edinburgh!

For anyone who is looking for an authentic Italian restaurant at Edinburgh, I truly recommend this place! The hospitality offered from the waitress who served me was incredible. The waitress maintained a positive and friendly attitude throughout the whole service as well as displaying knowledge of how the restaurant works and what products the restaurant has. The selection of Italian beers was great considering that a brand called Ichnusa was sold which can be rare to find. I did also treat myself to a Peroni that comes with a red label which was refreshing. The food was delicious and I could
