Never have i been so hungry insulted and put off my food in one breath!!! I went to the football today after leaving I thought I'd pop into a local cafe for a bacon egg and cheese triple. I paid with cash which was snatched from me by a very rude waitress. She then accused me of handing over a fake £10 note. Which was quickly checked by the possible owner. Needless to say my cash was accepted and I sat down to wait on my food. Sadly tho dew to the embarrassing situation (which i did not rise to) i had completely lost my appetite. What a disappointment!!! £6 for a roll and a false accusation..

Sea Breeze blew us away! Portions as big as the Atlantic and service so good it would bring any sailor ashore. This place has been a siren tempting us for a while now and we finally took the dive. It was a member of my crew’s birthday and the complimentary tea cake they gave her cured her scurvy! head here to put some wind in your sails !!

As a typical Asian, Scottish breakfast is usually not my first choice of breakfast but I have been to sea breeze cafe for quite a few times already because it’s such a nice local cafe with hearty big portion of classic, down-to-earth food! Staff are very welcoming and the causal ambiance made me feel included! Update - Came here again with my parents who are visiting from Hong Kong. They enjoyed the food very much, scottish breakfast maybe slight greasy for them but they said it is a nice gem in leith. Services are good as usual!
