Booked for a day trip to Edinburgh and was not disappointed. The place itself was amazing, full of history and quirky. The food itself was lovely, everyone enjoyed it in the group. The staff could not do enough for us. If you want somewhere to give you a full Scottish experience I highly recommend. Make sure to book in advance as it was busy and popular.

We really like this place, it’s a traditional pub that was really lively with a lot of people laughing and having a great time. The food was solid, we just had a burger and fries so nothing special but it was good. We had a couple of pints and they were served at the right temperature. This is at the end of the Royal Mile, but worth going to. We went and did the hike at Arthur seat and stopped here for food and beer on the way back.

I had the Haggis, Neeps and Tatties. I washed it down with a local ale. It was a fantastic meal and beverage. I highly recommend coming here for your next meal. The vibe was creepy in a good way. So much history that happened there.

Best venison stew ever. Service was super fast, within minutes of ordering. Was quite surprised actually, but there was no rush to eat and GTFO. Also had the sticky toffee pudding and it was the best one I had throughout my two week trip across Scotland.
