A beautiful town with a great cafe/ restaurant in the middle by the square. The Cross kitchen is a lovely place with nice clean modern interior (nice loo's) and outside seating as well. They have a very nice menu catering for most dietary requirements. All the food looked very good, we had a standard breakfast and it was very nice indeed. They also have speciality tea so I had my Darjeeling 🙂. The staff are all very nice and polite, I feel some may have been new,I'm sure they will do great. Cleanliness 10 -10 Food quality 10- 10 Staff 9-10 Atmosphere 10-10 Definitely worth a visit.

Went here for breakfast this morning, first time visiting and was blown away by how delicious our breakfast was. It was better than we could have imagined. The flavour was amazing. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Will be visiting again for lunch next time! 😀

Lovely spot for brunch! We had a full English breakfast which was delicious and filling, and the pain aux raisins was easily the best we’ve had 🤤 The atmosphere is cosy, and the staff are super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. Beautiful food! I had the bacon and sauage on chiabatta and wow! Peppery, hot, crispy bacon.. it was simple but perfectly put together. My daughter had kids beans and toast, again beatuiful quality of food, presented perfectly and my mum had a blueberry cake which she said was so light and and really tasty. The place is beautiful and the staff were attentive and friendly, and never stopped moving or missed a beat. The guy in the kitchen i could see from my seat was cleaning constantly in-between cooking and prepping food. I was seriously impressed with our impromptu visit
