during our stay in newcastle we stopped at this place 3 times during our walks. very nice place and staff along the river that seemed to be very popular with fellow walkers and especially cyclists. i debated on a bacon roll with it being £6.95 but very that i did, as i think i had half a pig in the biggest bread roll i've ever seen. turned out to be great value. outdoor seats make it a lovely place to stop off and rest

With the lovely weather, it was the perfect time to try it, especially since they have a fantastic outdoor seating area right next to the Tyne River. Absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is super cozy. This is the best cafe if you are on a long bike ride ending in Newcastle like I was. If I had to be picky, the hot chocolate was not the hottest and the service could have been quicker. But, I am sure I just got unlucky!

Always a good place to stop whilst out cycling, good coffee/ food/cakes at reasonable prices and tons of outside seating with great views on a sunny day. The only complaint is perhaps it's a tiny bit understaffed as it can take a while to get your food and the staff look run off their feet having to bring your food outside. Extremely handy bike mechanic shop inside for maintenance/ repairs whilst you're there too if you have any bike issues whilst out.
